Coveted by collectors and watch lovers, the Minute Repeater is one of the most complex mechanisms. In 2005, when de GRISOGONO entered the select circle of the Haute Horlogerie complications, Fawaz Gruosi debut went naturally with this Queen of complication embodied in the traditional and classical watchmaking round shape. It results in no less than a masterstroke.

Patterned on the reflex camera, the dial features a twelve-blade diaphragm mechanism, revealing the repeater movement for the duration of the chiming period. The diaphragm’s twelve blades simultaneously unclose the instant the Minute Repeater is triggered and close immediately after its three-gong chimes have struck hours, quarters and minutes. Meanwhile, the spectacular proprietary movement and its 414 intricate parts are magically exposed.
